I’m Back

Guess what everyone? I got married. And I went to New Zealand for the honeymoon and saw a lot of Hobbit Holes. Also listened to The Hobbit while driving around New Zealand, and finished it just before we went to Hobbiton. Really elevated the whole experience. I’m sharing one of the best photos I took of Hobbiton with you all, and would recommend it as a must see destination, but I’m back now, and ready to be extra creative going forward.

Hobbiton in early morning light. Quaint Hobbit Holes dot the hills, and a rustic vegetable garden is closer to the camera.

I finished a new short story today, about mimics. If it ever gets published, I think I may have to apologize to the world. Besides that though, well, not much to update. Just want to let you all know that I’m back and I’m still writing.

Tomorrow I’ll get back into streaming too. Feel free to join me over at twitch at 11am AEST to watch me hopefully finish my first Banjo-Kazooie Randomizer. Might also show off some goodies from the wedding/honeymoon.

T. Kingfisher's book 'What Moves the Dead' opened to the title page, where the author's signature can be seen.

Oh, got one new treasure I can share now. Before flying out to Auckland, I did some book shopping in Sydney, and managed to get a signed copy of T. Kingfisher’s ‘What Moves the Dead’. I try to be picky about buying physical books, but hard to turn down a signed book by the author of ‘A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking.’ I’ll have to start reading it tonight.

For now though, I gotta get back into the swing of normal life.
